Admission Point Score (APS) converts Matric percentage bands into points that universities can use as part of admission screening. Institutions can apply different rules.
General bands used by this tool
- 80–100% = 7 points
- 70–79% = 6
- 60–69% = 5
- 50–59% = 4
- 40–49% = 3
- 30–39% = 2
- 0–29% = 1
APS is not the only requirement
Courses can require specific subject marks, NBT results, portfolios, auditions or selection tests.
