Identity Documents
Most grant applications require identity information for the applicant, and child grants also require the child’s identity or birth information. Alternative affidavit processes can exist when an ID or birth certificate is not yet available.
Income and Asset Evidence
Means-tested grants can require proof of income, bank statements, assets, marital status or pension information.
Grant-Specific Documents
Disability and Care Dependency grants involve medical assessments. Foster Child Grants require a court order placing the child in foster care. War Veterans Grants require proof of qualifying war service.
